Just realized my new pig is the same pig as in Posts #105 and #106. Ree724 is the old owner...just emailed him. I'm doing the sliders, new springs, etc in 2 weeks!

76 FJ55

First Piggy. Mostly stock. Previous owner obviously had a sense of humor w/ the Ch*vy emblem and the chrome bulldog hood ornament.
-Stock 2f w/ Weber 38/38 carb
-Stock 4spd tran/4x4 drivetrain
-REMOVE the Ch*vy emblem and Bulldog

Mods to be done when I have the time:
-suspension (will be used for mostly overland, dirt roads, nothing extreme)
-headers
-electronic ignition conversion
-paint
-I am sure alot more as I start mess'n w/ her

Nice Dave......a different color too. You've put a lot into her so that she doesn't rattle when she rolls. Did you just get the rig or have you had it some time?? Thanks for sharing!!

I've had her since 1978. Everything listed is quite recent. Should have included pics of the motor.

Decided to invest instead of trade up. After 30+ years, I couldn't think about getting rid of it.

The name's Jason, I live in SLC UT.

I'm the relatively new owner of 2 1974 FJ55's.. I purchased them from "Vitesse_6" on here.

I drive this guy around town, and plan to keep it stock.

The red one has big plans:

The idea is to make the red one into an extended cab with an aussie style tray back, SOA, 35" tires, 4.7 v8 etc:
(novice photoshop)

Similar to this size and style of a Cruiser:

I love it! Awesome way to revitalize your Pig!!! Will you post a Build Thread? Or put it in Pig Of The Month?

I sold it to Timm (timmbuck2) of Rising Sun first. I am not sure when he sold it...
