I can't quite see up in the door nor is the FSM/Hayes manual much help.

Is there an adjustment in the front door that adjusts the play for exterior door knob? If so, how do I adjust it?

I'm getting ready to tear into my front doors to clean, lube, and reassemble.

To answer my own question... there is indeed an adjustment for the exterior handle. But in my case, I needed to bend the linkage also to get it bent outward enough.

The actual adjustment requires pulling the upper bracket out in order to adjust. Bending the linkage requires... well... bending the linkage

I'll snap a picture of it while I'm cleaning it up later today.
