33x950x15 Pictures
http://forum.ih8mud.com/members/texi...x950x15-s.html
I got tired of searching every time customers wanted to see this tire on a truck, so I made an album, if your truck is not pictured, post it or a link up, if your truck is in this album feel free to add a comment under the pic.

This is great and helpful, thanks for putting in the effort; now how about a definitive statement here from knowledgeable folk about whether OEM 15" steelies fit over drum and/or disc brakes? List anything else to know about that wheel & tire size setup and this thread could be useful long term for reference. Rim part numbers, backspace issues, do 33's fit without lift -- the stuff that's sprinkled across numerous posts but takes forever with the right search guesses to find all of.
...and the same type of pic album for 33x10.5x15 with a blatantly obvious thread title so it's very easy to find with a search?

Disc brake steel wheels clear them like they are supposed to........how do you ID them?
Disc wheels have the centers welded in whereas the drum version are riveted.
There is really no need for a separate album for the 33x1050 as in photos the difference is not noticeable, Personally I do not like the 10.50 on a stock width wheel, the 9.50 is the limit on width for safety and tire wear.......

So where to get a decent set of 33x9.5 tires?
I was going to buy a set of BFG MT's locally and the guy sold them out from under me.
Another local guy has a used set of BFG AT's but wants ~$400. To me, this seems steep.
What are y'all buying?

Plus, isn't the 33x9.50 the limit for a non-lifted Pig?

AFAIK Our only option is the BFG A/T which for an all around tire is an excellent one. Multi Mile(Kelly) used to make one but dropped it last year, slow sales nationwide ......I kept 4 in stock and sold 6 or 7 sets per year.....

I think so, I don't really consider them as an all around DD type tire though

TSL are a model of tire from Interco. Basically narrow swampers. http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=18&g=1

I have 10.5/33/15 BFG MT's that I am putting on the pig this weekend. They are on stock disk wheels I bought new from a dealer. The wheels were about $80 a piece and they will fit over the drum brakes. I'll post pics in my build thread when it's done.

I don't like the 10.50 tire on a stock rim, that's why I went with a 35x12.50 I had them on there for a little while and they did all right, but I could see that the center would wear a lot quicker than the outer edges....

what's wrong with a 10.5?
and yes, 12.5 is a bit wide for a 5.5 rim; they do create a heck of a bulge...fortunately, i won't have to worry cause this one will be running shortly after hell freezes over

I run the 33/10.50/R15 BFG AT on stock FJ60 rims. I love it. I went with 10.50 over 9.50 for a little more rubber touching the road.

Are you running these on a non-lifted Pig?
If yes, any rubbing?
