old doors vs new?
Anybody try to swap parts from a non-vent window door to a early door?
It looks like I could just take the vent window out and use the glass and regulator from the late door.

Indeed. Pighead did something similar but the other way around. He put a windwing into a '74 door. Doors are almost identical inside.

I liked my wing windows until I flopped it with one opened.
I've also been able to interchange parts on the doors.

Great. I like winged windows too, but I have glass for the wingless, mangled ones.

I believe so, 78 and 79 are there own units, not interchangable with the earlier ones.
I think the door lowers are the same, but not the uppers, I think.

What I apparently need now is side glass.
I'm not totally broken up about it as I would have like to keep the vent windows anyway.
