Rusty Gutter replacement

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of getting some metal pressed up so i can cut out my gutters and replace the rusty part of the roof along side the gutter.

Has anyone done this? it has to be strong as i have a roof rack, my only concern is the rear side window seals are very close to the gutter and will get burnt out by the welder. If i have them removed i'm not sure if replacement seals exist to have them put back!

Cheers for any input.

Please post any pics or links you have!!

The rear cargo window seals are pretty easy to get now. PVCruisers has them, in stock.

Be careful when you cut that rail off you are in essence cutting off your roof. So you need to be very careful about how you cut and how you reattach.

I noticed most of its rotten above the front doors, so i can prob keep the rest of the gutter. Will have to see what i have to work with once the rust is cleaned out.
