'79 Pig Radiator

Factory '79 Pig radiator. No leaks when removed from vehicle 10+ years ago. Been sitting in my rafters ever since.

Apparently, this is "Specific" to the '79. It is approx. 2 1/2" wider than my '78.

$100 plus the ride. Located in So Cal

Sorry to hijack here guys, but I have a 79 project that I'm getting ready to do a v8 swap, and I've been thinking that I would need to replace my 79 rad with a custom jobbie. I didn't know that the 79 rad was a one-off that is larger than the others...

So...Do you guys think a 79 rad (in good condition) will effectively cool a 350?

I have heard that some of the late-model radiators were 2-core, to make room for a fanclutch or something like that...
Not sure if the OP's is a 2-core or not, also not sure if a 2-core could cool a v8.

You will have more room for a custom w/ a V8.

I do recall that a '79 rad is skinny...

You could go custom and sell the '79 rad

No worries. Mine is not for sale. I think I'm going to try it with the SBC first.
