Parting a 76 piggy some great stuff here

Parting a 76 FJ55 with 27K original miles. This truck has what I consider to be terminal rust problems in some bad structural areas consequently I have changed my mind about using it as a daily driver. Here’s some stuff:

2F engine runs great, new OEM plugs, points, cap, and rotor. Includes alternator, starter, fuel pump, carb, air cleaner, and all belts. No smog pump but it does have the double pulley setup. New OEM manifold gaskets and genuine Toyota new studs where the exhaust pipe attaches. This engine starts perfectly with the choke and idles down perfectly, the carb works great. Will include the coil. Runs strong and sounds great. Price $600.

Complete 4 speed setup for a 55- H42 trans, transfer case, both shifters complete and intact, working parking brake, includes the correct parking brake and speedometer cables. Will throw in the bellhousing with bottom cover and flywheel/clutch assembly, too. This unit is tight, sounds great and shifts perfectly. $350

Axles front disc brake and rear drum, 4.10 ratio. Sound great, no noise or problems and brakes work great. $250 for the front axle which includes all the steering arms. $150 for the rear. $350 for the pair. Driveshafts front $45 rear $45 no dents. Smog pump (works great not noisy) and most associated smog components $50.

Interior parts as nice as you’ll find. Four door panels and both cargo panels will also include the nice rear wheelwell covers and the kick panels $SOLD. Dash pad $125. Gauge cluster (all gauges and speedometer/odometer work) $100. Glovebox door (slight curling) $50. Front seat two tears otherwise very nice $SOLD. Perfect rear seat $SOLD. Rear view mirror $SOLD, dome light $20. Very nice black seat and shoulder belt set- $75 for this really clean set.

What else………..5 stock steel wheels appear to still have the original silver paint, with four very nice hubcaps $SOLD the set. Jack set (cracked housing but this is common with both extensions (yellow) and handle. Also included is the handle to crank the engine and lower the spare tire carrier the set $SOLD. Front wiring harness pretty much perfect $100. Tail lights very nice either side complete $35. License plate lights very nice $35 the pair. Front turn signal assemblies $45 each. Radiator $85. Rear axle stabilizer complete with links and mounting brackets $50. Rear springs $SOLD, front springs $50. Transmission hump with nice boots $40, nice front mat uncut $SOLD. Cargo mat not perfect but not bad $SOLD. Decent front bumper $35 dented rear bumper with both ends $45.

Lock set includes original Toyota keys. One key fits the doors the other key fits the ignition, includes two front door locks, tailgate switch for window, fuel filler door lock, and ignition tumbler. $100 the set Steering wheel very nice $7SOLD steering column plastic surround $35. Combination switch $35. Very nice and clean rear heater $SOLD. Owners manual in excellent shape $20, owners guide for 1976 $20. Windshield $SOLD. Under hood heater box fan works great $45, inside the truck heater box looks nice works fine $45.

Tailgate- some rust but the rear window works perfectly, the window, tracks, motor and gearbox seem to be in excellent condition $150. The roof is about perfect- no rust, one small ding at the rear corner price $150. Headliner is perfect. gas tank- no gas smell in the truck no leaks that I can detect $75.

I’m keeping the four doors and the grille and hood are spoken for (Tom Humphries). Ask about anything else. Best to email me shmukter@pa.metrocast.net. Will ship anything at buyer's expense except the roof. Here's a link to the blurb when the truck arrived, there's some pictures to give an idea what the truck is like:

Gary,

Are the front seat belts retractable? I could not see evidence in your pictures. I would be interested in those if you wouldn't mind showing me the condition they are in.

Does the front axle have the ASCO lock-outs? I would be interested in those... No need for a disc frnt axle (shipping would be stupid)

bump for a great guy!

.....I had too pass on the list of items I was interested in at the moment due to an unexpected need for funds elsewhere so, I know Gary has a lot of GREAT parts available.....I know many of you have probably dealt with Gary before, for those who have not, he is a very honest seller and describes items accurately.....good luck with the sale Gary, if some of the items are available when I get some cash together, I will be in touch! -Lee

Last interior panel pics

Here's the last two shots of the interior panels. The front kick panels are nice from what i can see- they do have some small surface mount speakers screwed into them, but i gotta say this panel set is about as good as you are going to find. Gary

I'll get second in line for the rear seat if it doesn't work out with motomodz.

Lee...depending on what I end up taking to CMCC, I may have room for your stuff. Although...come to think of it, the rear seat you got from Gary (in perfect condition) may have some tears in it while simultaneously (and quite miraculously) the rear seat in Pigwald will become unblemished I'm up in PA not far from Rising Sun. As CMCC approaches and I check the weather forecast, that will determine what I take and if I'll have the room or not.

Man, talk about literally a day late! I haven't checked the Pig classifieds in months, and here I just spent over a buck for an SOR rear seat cover! I coulda had your sweet seat if I'd kept my eyes open!

About that 2F: Have you pulled it, or would that be contingent on a buyer?

Too bad it is in PA, or I would buy the whole running gear out of it. I am in GJ, CO 81505. Do you know anyone making the trip that might ship all that stuff cheap?

Howdy! Do you still have the turn signals? Oh, how about the jack, too? Is the crack in the base, or in the taller body section? Mine already has cracked in the base, on one of the screw tabs. John
