Not to pick on the southerners. But I can't believe what you consider rusty, being in PA where salt is used heavily. My first Cruiser was a FJ55. It had rust issues driving to work one day the battery fell thru the box and was hanging by the cables. Next the gas tank fell out from under it. When I couldn't get the gate open I jacked it up stuffed a 2x6 under where the rear sill plate had been and nailed it thru the floor. When a buddy of mine (a policeman) saw that the door was wired shut because the bottom of the post had rusted from the floor. He informed me that I would be fined if he saw it on the road again.

Must See to appreciate!!!

A lot of Time and Money Invested. No time to finish my project. This is a must see for someone who wants a project that is almost done. Since I started working on it, it has been inside a shop or garage.

To make it a Daily Driver it needs rear shocks and a Power Steering pump, $200.00.

Spring Over Lift, Done by Jim's Drive Train, and CAD custom Fabricating, Approx 4". Dual Long Travel Shocks with a custom hoop shock mount on the Front. High Steer system, and power steering out of a 97 F-250. Will turn any tires or terrain you want to go on.

Chevy 350 built by Capital Machine runs perfect with all top of the line and new accessories. Very Few miles, I drive it around the block about once a month to keep everything working.

NP205 gear driven Transfer case (bullet proof), with a 4 speed transmission great for crawling in the hills or driving around town.

Bodywork: 90% of the Rust has been fixed, POR-15 and other high end products were used. All work done by a professional body shop. Hood is still at the shop. Needs small dents and dings fixed and some body filler and you are ready for paint.

Interior is Stock.
http://forum.ih8mud.com/members/rust...1976-fj55.html Try this link for pictures of the process. It is all back together except the Hood is still in the bodyshop.
Serious 4x4 for a serious buyer. Brayden 208-867-2227

I was asking 4k for it but it is back in the body shop getting all the dents taken out of it now. So I will have to see how much that will cost me. All the rust is gone now.

I was wondering if this is still for sale and what you are asking for it now that the rust is fixed?
