1972 fj55 parts rig
72 fj55. Body is pretty much eat up with rust. Frame is pretty good just mainly surface rust. All glass is good except windshield. Hood is good except for a dent where it turns down in the front. The roof is suprisingly good. One little hole where someone mounted a CB antenna and the edges of the rain gutter has some spots on them. (trim would cover it up) Motor is not locked up but haven't tried to start it. 3 spd tranny. All the guts are in the tailgate. Drum brakes. Truck is showing 82k for mileage. Good frame tag and clear tn title.
500 bucks. My sister wants it out of her yard. (she thinks it's ugly)?. Needs to be gone by October. It's in Gallatin TN. E-mail me if you have any questions or need additional pics. Brett

Wallace,
With that price I imagine you will hear from some folks by early next week. May not end up being a parts rig after all and could very well be on the road to recovery/trail piggin'/rock climbin'/head turnin' .........just plain back to Iron Pign'--
Somebody get this thang!!!! Dave

Thanx Dave,
Can't believe someone doesn't want it for parts. Hood is good and roof is good. Pretty much everything is there. Motor isn't locked. If nothing happens in a couple weeks I'm gonna have to make it go away. Was hoping somebody needed some stuff off it to make it a resonable purchase. Don't have the energy to part it out. Why don't you bop on up here and pick it up!!!! Brett

What's the latest date to ask for it? I don't need another project but I'd hate to see it go to a bad end. Is it towable? I'd have to figure out some way to get it over here... $500 bucks is hard to pass up though. Have you tried calling TPI? They might just need a parts rig. Best wishes! ty

Brett; it is a very solid looking pig specially when compared with the ones I have started with.... also it is in the southeast which makes it even more valuable.........have 3 1/2 pigs now and would kill me deiad if I drug up 'nother project ..............also with it being a 72 it will have the "Modern Dash" making this area easier to repair.............HTH

Ty,
I told her I'd have it gone by the first of October. It would need tires/wheels to tow. I wouldn't trust the ones on it. Brett

Ty, you could swing by here and pick up a couple of "fair" but mismatched wheels if that would help......

I might have to drive up there with my roommates car trailer and his mom's F-250 to rescue that pig. I might end up sitting in my garage for a while but I definitely don't want to see it die...
hmmm...

Sorry to be dragging my feet... I'm also looking at a 62 series that might be a nice addition. It sounds like you've got some local interest. Hope all goes well, ty

Dave,
It's still available. Got a couple of weeks left before I have to move it. Make someone a decent parts rig. I hope somebody steps up and and drags this thing out of here.

If you're going to crush it PLEASE try parting it first! Piggy parts are hard to get and some of us, like me in Guatemala, simply cannot come and get it.
