I'd say start a new thread, insert the current wish list, and the contact info from Georg, sticky and lock it (So it doesn't get huge and hard to sift through...) in the 45 section.

People can post what they are sending in the LCJ needs our help thread, and you can update the list as stuff comes in.....

I think the list will be an ever changing beast anyway. Don't kill yourself to get everything on paper before you post. Start with the big stuff and and the small stuff as you need.

Just an update I received a PM from Mace and he is waiting to hear from the guy with the donner , I spoke with Mark A. and right now the plan is Mace will get the donner to Las vegas I will get it from Veas to my house and store it until we set a date for the build that way its not taking up space at Mark's until everyone is ready. I spoke with Mark and that works for him. So far so good.

Georg, I think what Texican meant to say is, just start the thread, and he'll take care of the logistics.... Once you start a thread, he can edit, move, rename, sticky, delete.... only thing he can't do is start it

Subject change: Gene- do you need an early split hood w/o windshield hold downs, etc.? I have one that is rust free, has the chrome center strip dealey- but no thunderbird ornament. You can have it if it's helpful. Came from my 64 short bed 45. I'll pay to ship it to Marks shop if you want it.

Luke

I posted a few parts in the for sale thread, nothing great, but I may have stuff you need at the house. A parts wanted thread might help- I have a few cruiser friends with piles o parts.

If Gene doesn't need it- I'll post it up for sale with the proceeds to go towards the reconstruction. I already have one interested party if it goes that way.

Thanks for the offer, but my original LV hood was safe in my garage at the time of the accident. Sorry I can't read through the thread right now guys (haven't been on for days and I'm at a construction site on the supers computer), but my computer is still being fixed. The hard drive died and it's taking a little longer to get it back. Thanks again to all and I look forward to getting back on MUD on a daily basis soon.

Gene

UPDATE: Pending pictures to verify that the condition is what he wants- jsaltlick is getting my 45 hood with the $150 sale price to be forwarded to Genes reconstruction costs.

Cruiser Karma- I hope to never need it- but I'm sure I will.

Luke

Junky- Can you put the paypal info on your first post? I just re-read the thread trying to find it (still interesting the second time!)

Or can we just get a sticky at the top??
