Part Numbers

If you run across a part number.....post it here or PM me and I'll add it to the lists. Big disclaimer........many of these came off 40 year old packaging....combined with my lousy notetaking.....could mean I might have made a mistake. Just because there's a Toyota number doesn't mean it's available either..........

Got a part number? Try it out here.

Feel free to comment and chat about part numbers here.......I don't mind, but will go through occasionally and weed out stuff that doesn't need to be permanent.

tail light assemblies from Marks Offroad came in Toyota boxes with 81550-60020 P/N on them. Dunno if they're the right boxes though.

Mike, I had 81530-69010 for the tail light assembly, could very well have been superceded at some point though.

Added the numbers from Mike.

Rear wheel bearings are R139B same as <'73 FJ40. I used SOR 88-100A-kit and everything fit fine.

Don't know if they are the same but I found that the part number for the fuse block for my early 65 FJ40 is 82610-20011.

That part number is for a 5 fuse block. My cruiser has a block with only five fuse spots in it. I just found out though that the fuse block is no longer available from toyota.

Genuine Toyota Fenders - damn close to FJ25 fenders, some holes will need to be filled in and the mounting bracket is slightly different. The two lower holes are slotted for easier installation. Otherwise, they're the same.

Right: 53810-90341

Has anyone tried this part number? is it original for FJ25 taillights?

I tried both and neither came up.... I'm on the hunt too if anyone knows. My 64 40 had 25 style taillights. I'd rather exhaust the dealer before I go spector repro. I'm stopping at the dealer after work.. I still have 1 more book to look at

It's a pretty close # though. The later ~65-69 lights are 81550-60011

See the tail light part number which Mike has mentioned is available as special order from toyota dealership in my area. $ 73.99 each but I just want to make sure it's the right one coz, they dont take return on special orders.

We'll see if some show up for me.

BTW Archie.. your dealer is screwing you if that's the $ you were quoted. my cost was ~29 ea 81550-60020 P/N

Except there are two versions of the sight glass carb. They look identical on the outside. I have two versions of the aftermarket rebuild kits and none of them have the correct part for the older variation.

The 2 books i've seen are super vauge about what kit's fit which versions :( I wouldn't doubt that aftermarket kits might not be complete..even oem kits.

I need more time with them

I just called a local Toyota dealership, gave me a price of just under $28.00 but went he checked stock he told be they were no longer available. So their are still listed in the system but are long gone. So if someone gets them be sure and post it up they can be found.

Added carb float and carb rebuild kit #'s. The rebuild kits do not come with the proper metering rod and metering rod jet.
