03 H2 Vs. 07 FJ

I hate to say it, But hands down my Hummer was the Best vehicle I ever owned. Lots of room everywhere. Of Course the H2 is Very WIDE. Parking was always an adventure. I used my H2 for my Video Production Company, So I had room to transport my Equipment. I will let you know how the space differs between the two SUV's next week when I go to my next shoot. But it looks like the FJ, with the back seats down, can handle all my GEAR.
The Body Style of the FJ is what caught my eye, Well so did the Gas Mileage. Anyway if the government wasn't stickn it to us with the GAS Prices I would still be driving my H2. But I am very happy with the FJ. This is my First Toyota ever. To boot here in Pensacola I have the only Black Cherry one for the next 3 weeks. So I get ALOT of looks. Now it time to do the MODS to my FJ.

Amen.
The FJC is nice, but it's hard to compare them.

Both are good, but IMHO the "real cruisers" (and I use the term loosley) are better.
But then again the FJC is half the price new.

Cheers,
Nick

I suspect you'll like the FJC over the H2...I know a couple guys with H2's, and they seem to be complaining constantly about little details....and fuel mileage is one of them.

(course, one guy is on 39.5's on his H2, so mileage AND power both suck....lol)

welcome

Tremendously insightful comments by others aside, what exactly do you prefer about the H2 over the FJC? Just curious. One thing to keep in mind is the FJC is about 1/2 the price of an H2, so don't expect everything to be the same.

And the govt doesnt set the gas prices

You will be pleasantly surprised by Toyota's fit and finish if this is your first one.

Then you should go back to your H2.

Then again Im more of an FJ55 person. Ive owned other brand new 4x4's.... Land Cruisers have never left me or my family down. Cant say the same about the others we have owned. Including a brand new fully loaded GMC 3500 with enough room to carry a family of 5, a cowdog, and pull a trailer.... transmission and front end went out and left my stranded almost 300 miles from home. Truck only had 53K on it. Traded it in on a fourdoor fully loaded top of the line blazer 4x4.....another pos that spent more time at the dealership then in my driveway. Finally had to sue gm to get my money back. I think out of the 18 months we owned it I actually drove it maybe 4months.

Your beginning statement makes you sound more along the lines of a troll and not someone that is a Toyota Truck or TLC enthusiasts. That's what this website caters to, Toyota folk.

I started this by asking him/her to post his/her impressions of the FJC after owning the Hummer. He/she is not really trolling, but responding to a legitimate question. Now, the way it was answered may sound like a troll. I thought the differences would be elsewhere, not room or comfort, both things that are easily assessed by looking inside the vehicle and a quick test drive. If those are the only complaints, then you got a heck of a bargain seeing as the H2 is twice the price of an FJC.

still have to find somebody on this forum that complains about the impact on the environment instead of the impact on their wallet when they speak about gas mileage...

Interesting comment on the environment. Funny how the Greenies turn a blind eye to countries with very little or no regulation, i.e. Mexico, Russian Republics, China, all of South America, most of Africa; I think you get my point. No one in those countries give a rat's ass what kind of "refrigerant" you're using.
