Air filter same as Tacoma?

I was wondering, is the air filter in the FJC the same as the ones in the new Tacomas? I went to get a K&N but the store didn't have the FJC in thier computer yet (so didn't know what was the right one).

I was told by my dealer to be careful when it comes to installing a K&N air filter due to warranty issues. He informed me that toyota has a TRD air filter that has the same effect. Whether or not this is true i don't know.
