Towing with an FJ?
Anyone towed anything sizable with it? I have a 20' CC boat that I tow regularly--total weigh of boat and trailer is close to 4K lbs. How well does the FJ and the 6 cyl handle that?

I think thats to much for a small truck. I would pull that with a full size truck. Even if its rated thats to much.

It might be able to do it but if you get into a death wobble while braking ???

The vehicle is capable of pulling it, but as far as safety is concerned, I would not use my FJ to tow something that size. As mentioned previously it will wobble when braking, not to mention if you get in a situation where the wind is blowing, it will be unstable. Think of both situations as the trailer pulling you where it wants to go. Going too fast and having to stop quickly will possibly spell rollover/jackknife for you and your trailer/boat.
