Drove one "offroad"
One of the clubs I am in had a Make A Wish event this weekend. The FJ team was there with a few FJ Cruisers. I drove one on a small course they had setup. They did take them on the trails too.
It was comfortable, but I'm still not buying one ![]() The black cherry one tore up the skidplate. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I heard the skid plate which replaces the Toyota skid plate that comes with the ARB bumper is flimsy and is in need of a re-design. Regardless, if these are the same FJ's they have been taking all around the country off roading the crap out of, you're sure to get a little body damage somewhere along the line.

The FJC team does struggle with clearance. Their trucks are probably 1" lower than stock because of the front ARB, the winch, and the belly pan. Those guys can drive though, and it's fun to watch professional drivers spotting each other over tricky obstacles. -B- __________________ 97 FZJ80 - Wing Nut MAF, locked, 315 Toyos, 4.88s, Slee 4", George's sliders, Slee bumpers, M12000, OBA, Outback drawers + other stuff.
