Wimpy Horn?
Okay, this is far from talk of lift kits and winches, but she-who-must-be-obeyed, who technically owns my FJ, complains that the horn is too wimpy and wants it changed. Far be it from me to miss an opportunity to modify my FJ, so does anybody have any suggestions? My suggestion for the "Dukes of Hazzard" Dixie tune were met with disdain to say the least. Something that sounds like a '70 Ford LTD would be nice. Thanks for any suggestions.

I installed a pair if Highway Blasters in my 4Runner several years ago.
Loud, very loud, and since there are 2 of them, there are 2 different tones. Here is a write-up of mine. I plan on putting a set of these in the FJC when I get it. __________________ Corey '07 FJ Cruiser ARB bumper, Warn XD9000, to much to list, see my website My Forum - My Website - My Rigs Build-up - Roof Top Tent - My Penthouse - Maggiolinas In Their Natural Habitat |

Check my sig, this horn is PERFECT! Not too crazy loud, but easily twice as loud as stock with two relatively high piched tones. Bought it on Ebay for, what, $34 or so?

A bunch of write-ups on the 80's forum, a quick search will net a bunch of options, like these;

See if you can find an old 3 horn setup from an older Cadillac. Dump trucks will move out of your way when they hear this behind them.
