don't you guys do litres up there?
why not just do the math yourself? take note of how many gallons/litres you pump in the next several times you fill the tank. Subtract the average of those gallons/litres from the capacity of the tank and you'll have a general idea of how many gallons remain when the light comes on. As for how far you can drive once the light comes on...that's a matter of multiplying the average remaining gallons by your average MPG. tell me could've figured that out yourself....please... __________________ a couple pairs of pink panties... Your are correct in your assumption that i could have calculated it myself, but i wanted to know a general average.

doesn't it depend on tire size? or as you already asked, city or highway driving? the type of driving...such as fast starts vs. slow starts from the line? wouldn't it be best to first determine the amount of fuel remaining, then compute the aproximate distance yourself? __________________ a couple pairs of pink panties... Careful!!
A copule of users on fjcruiserforums.com have reported running out of gas before the guage hits E. It may be a defective fuel float. http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...ead.php?t=4591 |

hmm those 60 miles were mixed about 50/50 highway and cit maybe 60 city and 40 percent highway and, I ussually go for about 50 miles after the line goes below E.. and I still have 1 or 2 gallons left.. so I am pretty confident that I can go 60-70 after the needle goes below E line.. this is based on my driving manners and I encourage you to get the feeling on your own..
on Average I am getting 19mpg on a MT6 FJC ussually shifting at 2k rpms around 320/330 miles per gas tank. __________________ 07 FJC 33" STTs, OME lift |
