That's all she wrote for this install. Maybe we can do a LIVE install on your favorite FJ accessory in the future. What might that be? Watch for the Warn Winch install soon. Looks like it might be the 9.5xp. Look for a review later after we drive it with th Bull Bar and IPF's. Thanks to ALL for checking this thread out.

The ARB Bull Bar is on BACK ORDER with every distributor. ARB just received about 120 bars this past Monday. There will be another shipment in late June to early July(about 100 bars or so) These too are pre-sold to distibutors and their customer's. Your best bet to get a Bull Bar this year is to place an order with any ARB distributor...get on the list of back orders and when they arrive at ARB they will fill the orders of those whom have placed orders with distrubutors...

Yeah, it may be picky, but it seems to be a big hole/gap. We have our fabricator looking at it now. Maybe a quick sheet metal cover is in the future....
It's not really a big deal, try trimming it like this:

Also, BTW, for best appearance, we use a black satin spray paint on the color areas of the lower fender flange and the body mount… (NOT like the picture above ) it’s a little touch that really makes a difference.

Congrats on your install!

Man-A-Fre has received their ARB bumpers and has started calling customers on their pre-order list. They are going to start shipping them out tomorrow. At least mine ships out tomorrow, so I assume they are shipping a bunch out. I assume that other distributors have received their bumpers and are starting to ship them as well.

A couple questions on the ARB skid plate:

1. Do I have to remove the optional front skid plate I have?

2. If so, do I need to put the original factory plate on or does the ARB make up for that?

Thumbs up

I can't totally envision the splash guards, but you might take a heat gun and warm them to the point of moulding them a different way and reconnecting them??? Does this make sense?

The bumper looks great, and so do the lights.

How is the ride height? Did installing the ARB Bull Bar drop the front end at all?

Do you expect the addition of a winch to drop the front end enough to warrant installing stiffer springs (i.e. 886's)?

From reading your other posts you have the OME 885 springs installed on the front. I installed an ARB + Warn M8000 on stock suspension and it dropped the front end (which I expected). I have a set of 886's on order to compensate for the ARB + Winch.

Hope you're getting the new 886's

I am sticking with the (realtively) proven 885's for now.

When you figure the Prado weighs about 200# more than the FJC, the reality matches the math.

Bumper and winch (steel cable) drops stock suspension about 1/2", barely budges the OME 885's.

I believe they are the new ones that are currently on their way over via boat from AU. I'll make sure to ask. Thanks!

My FJ is more than an inch lower with the ARB bumper + Warn M8000 winch (synthetic cable). I was originally considering the 885's. However, the ARB folks in WA said that they are recommending 886's for those people that have bull bars with a winch. I just don't want the front to be to stiff/harsh.
