Anyone got their model yet? I got a Voodoo blue one yesterday, came in a FJ box with a FJ magazine

my dealer showed my one yesterday that he kept when he sold the fj on ebay. he said he was gonna put the model on ebay too. so anyone who didnt get theirs when they got the truck check ebay.

My dealer said there was no part number for these specific fj models. they are made by auto art and theye are listed on their website so i would thimk that you coulld buy one from an auto art dealer

rumor has it that delivery of the toy fjs is being handled by a third party marketing agency. here is a link that was listed on fjcruiserforums:

It is made by autoart and there is one on ebay right now. They will soon be available through all the online diecast companies. Looks like this might be a Toyota dealer selling it.

I enquired to "autoart" about the fjmodel...and...they said...............................Hi John,
Please be advised that the 1/18 FJ Cruiser will be available to the hobby
market in March 2007. The only method to get your hand on the FJ model is
from buying the real FJ Cruiser from a Toyota dealership. Toyota Motor Sales
will send you the same color 1/18 FJ model as a customer appreciation gift.
Other than this method, the FJ Cruiser model will not be available until
March of 2007.

DId yours come after you signed up on the toyota owners site noted in the above link?

Hopefully they come from a third party company so we don't have to worry about the dealer keeping it and ebaying it out.

I believe that "autoart" send them out direct to you ...they get a direct notice from toyota when you sign on to their toyotaownersonline.com/fj sight.

I think thats the way it works...
