Is ARB the only mfg making a front bumper for the FJC ? Anyone fabricating one ?

Has anyone heard if ARB is the only manufacturer "currently" making front bumpers for the FJC? The bull bar looks pretty cool, but I'd like to see other options ?
I was informed today by my Toyota rep that the ARB bumper for the FJC will accept the following WARN Winches: M8000, XD9000, 9.5XP

I would personally like to have another 9.5 ti but it apparently won't fit the bumper.

Any info would be appreciated.

What would be super cool is to run the M8000 or XD9000, hide the solenoid in the engine bay and wire up a dash-mounted switch to run it with.

Did your source give any hint as to when the All Pro bumper might be available ? Thanks

He did not. I actually talked to one of the Sales rep or someone at all pro when I was asking about the SAS kit. I am assuming 2-3 months by the time the "Special Edition" FJ comes out if it ever does most manufacturers should have plenty of parts available.

From AllPro's site:
"All-Pro's New Toy! All-Pro goes back to its roots - the long awaited 2007 FJ Cruiser is here! Look for suspension and armor parts coming soon, including bumpers, rock guards, skid plates, and an IFS 3" Suspension lift kit followed by an SAS kit!

I couldn't be happier with my AllPro Tacoma bumper. The pic posted above was the prototype model - here's a pic of my Tacoma with the production model bumper:

I know BentUp is currently making a rear bumper (and already have sliders available), so they may design a front bumper next... ? I would guess within a few months there will be several different ones available (ARB, AllPro, Trail-Gear, BentUp(?), etc).

You could always get any metal fabrication shop to custom make you a bumper to fit your rig as well as any winch you might want to run.

This is an expensive way to go, but if you go in hand with pictures (they can reverse engineer it) or if you go with a design/blue print, you will get what you want.

Again, much more expensive then getting an off the shelf ARB/TJM etc.

Cheers.

Me likes - Hell, how much for the cardboard template ? I like that better than the bumper that came with the FJ.

I have Two Questions:

1.) Are your plans to offer it (both) with and without the pre-runner bar ?
2.) What is your "best estimate" on when you'll start taking orders and shipping ?

I'd like to put one on my lifted FJC.
Looks Awesome - Keep up the good work

What will be a tough one will be whether I go for another ARB like on my 4Runner, or the All Pro one.

I really dig the ARB one too they have now for the FJ.

You like the cardboard bumper? I'll sell it to you cheap!

We've finally just got signed up on this board. So, to answer you questions:

1.) We have considered adding the pre-runner style hoop. Maybe we could get some feedback on what people want and go from there.

2.) We will have the proto-type done tomorrow. Usually the initial production run takes about 6 weeks due having to develop the fixturing. We generally make 10 bumpers in the first run, so once we get the pricing info we'll start taking pre-orders for the first 10.

Thanks for your interest in our products. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I have a few ?s for you.

1. Will your bumper be able to use the Warn XD 9000, or will it take a winch that has the solenoid built in like the i series?

2. Will a roller fairlead work too, or only the hawse type?

Thanks, and I am awaiting to see some complete pics of it painted mounted up to the FJ.

I do not think a vehicle in a long time has stired up so much talk and aftermarket stuff being designed so fast as much as this new Toyota.

Everyone has their own opinions, but since you mentioned it; I'd like to see a version without the pre-runner bar - but the possibility of adding one later - bolt on would work since there would (hopefully) never be SERIOUS stress on that part of your bumper. Accessories Man

Opinions, eh?

Well, I'd like to see one that will work with the Toyota brush guard, or have a setup like it; I like the way it looks (I'm not overly thrilled with the design of the ARB).

I'll let the All-Pro team answer with specifics, but I was informed that it weighs less and costs less than the (leading brand)

The ARB is really cool, but it's good to have more than one choice.

1. The bumper will fit up to a Warn 9.5 without an integrated solenoid. Winches with integrated solenoids would have to be mounted lower, compromising the approach angle.

2. We recommend the use of a Hawse style fairlead for use with synthetic rope (safer and lighter). I'll check on the capatibility with the roller style though.

I've been looking for a good reason to ditch that factory skid plate. This bumper looks more environmentally friendly than the stock version; no plastic

That FJC looks Like something out of a Mad Max movie. I'll bet flames shoot out the port holes.
