Drive an FJ Cruiser with the FJ Trail Team

What!!! Yes you can drive an FJ Cruiser offroad with the FJ Trail Team. We are taking the FJ to a lot of really cool offroad sites across the U.S. Check out the FJ link on Toyota.com and find out where we are going to be next.

I am the lead driving instructor for the East Coast FJ Trail Team and we are going to be at the Rockport ORV Park next weekend, April 22-23. If you can come out you will have the opportunity to drive the FJ Cruiser offroad on some great terrain in the park.

If you live in another part of the country you could catch up with the Central Team or the West Coast Team of the FJTTs.

Send a team up to Canada (Winnipeg would be nice) and I'd be there with you in a heartbeat (once my FJC arrives on the 21st).

Dont miss out on this opportunity guys, Upstate Cruisers brought a few guys out in the rain we had several mechanical problems and a roolover and the FJ kept plugging along the whole time. Plus the FJTT is a pretty cool bunch of people. It was pretty fun to drive too.

Shawn,

Checked with the higher ups. Legal mumbo jumbo is all I got back from them. Our insurance won't allow us to go up there or into Mexico . Maybe you could make it down to one of our events in South Dakota or NY or Wisconsin. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is what it is.

The Central team will be in New Mexico this weekend, April 22-23. Check the details on the FJCruiser Team web site or on the HDCruisers.org web site.

Woody gets to drive whatever is left of Robbie's FJC after we finish with it.

We have a lot of dates over the next 8 months. You can check out the Toyota.com website and go to link for FJ and then FJ Bulletin to see the schedule of upcoming events. If you have an event in mind I could look and see if we are comign to it though.

I think Brian is coming to see us at HowiePalooza before the GSMTR so he will have some seat time in the Cruiuser before getting into Robbies .

Sept would be the CORR Brush Run in Crandon....haven't missed that event for a few years, even had my FJ40 on display in the Pitbull tires booth in 2005...I'll be there in June too for their first run...

Toyota has a pretty good sized booth there....if that's the event, keep me posted, since I know of a buddy with a rock garden just a few miles from there....you'll enjoy Vic Ferrari (band) on Sat night too...usually a good showing of...mmm...well...young ladies

My family and I rode with Maureen at the Chrystal Beach, TX event this morning. She was very friendly and answered all of our questions.
We had a great time, and we are thinking hard about buing one in the spring.
