6 new FJs at Camelback Toyota Phoenix AZ

Finally saw the FJ... all I can say is I'm pretty stoked. It looks a lot better than in the pictures,. actually pretty great. Actually thinking about buying one in a while...

They had 3 blue, 2 silver, 1 red (bordeau whatever)

one of the blue ones went out the door sold when we were there. It was the only one with a roof rack. Not sure if it had an automatic or if it was a 4x4 or not.

2 had rock sliders

all the rest had running boards

all had alloy wheels

all were 4x4s and automatics

the least expensive one was 23k

most expensive 31k

all had the wimpy small street tires.

The red one was being test-driven by a couple and their baby (it was for her). I'm pretty sure they had serious four-wheeling in mind

I know Larry Miller has some too. I looked at a couple at Camelback on Wednesday. Had a two yellow and blue one then. A salesman called be about the black cherry yesterday morning, wife's favorate color. No premium markup at Camelback, don't know about Larry Miller. Nows the time to buy one if you have to have one of the first ones. They don't seem to be flying out of the dealers. But in a couple of weeks when the general public starts seeing them on the road I think the demand is going to jump.

Yeah I noticed too that there were no typical "upgrades" like paint sealer for $800 or anything. Not like the Ford dealer that unabashadely put on a sticker that said "additional dealer markup" on Mustangs.

Thanks Camelback Toyota. Way to go.
