This isn't state specific (sort of). CAT stands for Central Atlantic Toyota distributors. Dealers access a system called Dealer Weekly (I think that is the name of it) in order to preference a car.
This list is a summation of the information listed in their system and information given at the SC Greenville event. If something didn't check out I did not include it. The only package that I know of that was not mentioned at the Greenville event (in the slides) was the UR package that adds the sub. That info came from CAT. Most everything else was information from the preferencing system cross-checked with information in the slideshow from SC. You mentioned Quote:
I don't claim this list to be gospel and as more information comes out it is my intention to update the list. Also, not to start a huge firestorm here but according to CAT and SouthEast Toyota Distributors no allocations have been assigned, meaning dealers can enter their info into the preferencing system but no "orders" have been processed. Well, it would appear that my educated guess wasn't all that far off. The TRD package seems to be more a set of accessories that can be selected but the other packages seem to be pretty much intact.
Go to www.toyota.com and configure one yourself.

Speaker manufacturer NXT has announced that Toyota's new 2007 FJ Cruiser SUV will be the first commercial vehicle to incorporate its flat speaker technology, with the FJ to rock the enclosure-less speakers in its ceiling panel. The NXT tech differs from traditional conical speakers in that it uses a light, flat diaphragm to disburse sound frequencies over the entire panel surface as opposed to producing vibrations that ripple from the center outwards. The NXT-enabled FJ will be available in March 2006 for an as-yet-unspecified price. __________________ aka Mike D.----->Bio Page "Its better to be thought a fool rather than to speak up and remove all doubt." - Lincoln Workin' on pimpin' the 80... www.root45.com www.risingsun4x4club.org TLCA #14133 |

Good luck actually optioning one out *exactly* how you want it. Toyota pretty much delivers vehicles to a pattern. Dealers put in orders, months in advance. And according to my dealer, Toyota also furnishes vehicles to a set pattern. But they're package deals. You often have to get a dealer who will work with you and if you can't get what you want on the lot, will go vulture one from another dealer. If you want one optioned exactly how you want it, you can order one and wait, and wait, and wait. And then run the risk of it accidently being redirected to another dealer by district before your dealer gets it. The more limited the vehicle the worse it gets. My dealer finally found a RAV4 that was close to what we wanted. Even though it just got off the ship, the "rules" were it had to be delivered to the earmarked dealer first, so it had to go to a dealer 120 miles away. My dealer then traded that dealer a vehicle he needed for it and brought ours back. We managed to get all but one option we wanted. It took a couple of weeks, and we just barely made a deadline on a factory sales promotion (which the factory would not extend for us even though we were committed to buying). The RAV4 is probably the worst for this because there aren't as many made as others in the line. But it makes me wonder what the chances are going to be when the new FJ hits the dealerships? Especially since it's likely dealers are going to be optioning them up for maximum profit, and you may have to take options you don't want.
