Well, the title says it all; I am contemplating putting a FJ Cruiser windscreen on our old Volvo...
Why?!, you may ask, well the reason is that I find the Volvo b*t-ugly, and being a cruiserhead I want some more cruiser in it!

I have swapped a 3.0 1KZ-t cruiser diesel with gearbox in it, so it is getting accustomed to Yota parts... ;-)

My Q here is if it is possible to find a windshield frame with wiper arrangement at an affordable price?
Here in Denmark body parts like that are usually cheap because nobody is stupid enough to use them, but how is it in the US? (The FJ Cruiser never got imported here...)

Let me know what you guys think? Thanks!

I think you must be asking about an FJ40, not the FJ Cruiser. The FJC is a full body rig and would have to be cut from the body, something one couldn't just bolt onto something. The FJ40 windshield does have frame that can be removed/bolted to another rig...

I am actually talking about the FJ Cruiser, if you look at my sig-line you'll see that I have 40 series cruisers. :-)
I know that the FJ is a unibody, so yes, the frame would have to be cut from a damaged rig or something and welded to the Volvo cab.

One major issue is wether or not I can get the parts from a junkyard in the US...

Fair enough.

Try this website to search for the body and see what comes up. I think its a difficult task to undertake but its an interesting idea.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

Good luck...

I tried the website without luck, but did not submit a parts request.

Great Photoshop! Yes something like that! The project is that I am building it as a R/V slash Expedition Vehicle...

I have already made several changes to the design, and the windshield just looks like an ugly greenhouse...

Sorry I haven't got any pics right now, but I am writing my phone (btw autocorrect sucks when set up for Danish while writing in english...)
