Exclamation Need stock 2007 Ring & Pinion

Broke a few teeth on the ring, I believe they are 3.73's.

Anyone recently perform an upgrade that would like to get rid of their old stock set?

I think you'll find that the vast majority upgraded only after breaking the stock ring gear (myself included). Nitro gears from Just Differentials are good-quality replacement gears that are much less expensive than OEM Toyota.

Agreed. Just Differentials is relatively local to you.

I'd guess if you really wanted a set of take-outs, they might have some. I'd give them a ring if you want new or a used set...

Nah, just 3 sets of OEM gears before I went aftermarket.

I wondered where that got to. I thought Brian was going to make a trophy for GSMTR out of it.

We could do that. It's sitting right here on my desk at work.

Justdifferentials is the first to offer HD replacement 3.73 aftermarket Ring & Pinions, for the for FJ Cruiser, 4runner, Tacoma, Prado!
For many years Toyota 4x4’s have been well known for their strength & reliability all over the world. Out of the box they feature some pretty great drivetrain, but they do have their limits. The factory 8” rear differential was quite robust for its time, when it debuted in 1979 behind 85 hp 3000 lb mini trucks. Fast forward 30 years and the Toyotas of today have 250+HP, weigh 5000 lbs, and are often lifted and running oversized tires. The latter combo has proven to put the 8” past its limits and there have been many failures of the OEM rear Ring & Pinions. The problem is that the OEM replacements are in the $1000 range and there were no aftermarket options, until now. Nitro Gear & Axle has addressed this by offering the new HD Aftermarket 3.73 Ring & Pinion for Toyota 8” rear diff. Nitro Gear has quickly become the #1 choice for aftermarket gear ratios and differential upgrades for late model Toyotas, and now is offering OE ratios like this for those who do not intend to alter gear ratio.
P/N TV6-373-29-NG
