New owner, 2007 FJC TRD

Just picked up this FJC from Houston last Thursday. I have been looking at these rigs since they came out and finally pulled the trigger. It has 30k, was a 1 owner vehicle, and has ARB bumpers front and rear. Also has All Pro sliders and Daystar leveling spacers in the front.

Congrats!
Nice looking rig. Thing is still a baby with the low mileage

Plans are to add some 285/75R16 MTRs, some kind of 3 inch lift, All Pro adjustable rear trailing arms, All Pro tubular upper A arms, and some skid plates.

The drive home from Houston was 1640 miles. A little longer than it needed to be because I thought I needed to see Roswell New Mexico. No regrets.

Sounds like a good plan!
I highly recommend Bud Built skids. Lots of options. I remember lots of sleepless nights figuring what I wanted next on mine! Good luck!

It worked out great and thanks for your offer to check it out for me. We had a Captain with the Houston Fire Dept do an independent inspection of it before I flew down to Houston. Glad I flew down and drove it back. Got to see around 600 miles of Texas on the way home!

Now I'm just trying to decide what lift to go with. Will be used mostly on local mountain roads with an annual trip to Moab.

Very nice...reminds me of ours when it was still black and an official TRD

Your mod plans pretty much mirrored ours....we went wit an ome lift, nitto terras, Demello bumper and sliders with Ricochet skids.

I wish we would had had that done when went to Moab...there was whole lot of scraping going on

Doc

We're doing a week in Moab July 21. Hope to have the lift and skids on by then. Plan on starting with Goodyear MTRs as soon as they are available from Discounttiresdirect.
