I'm buying and FJ Cruiser!
I have had a 73 FJ40 for the last 5 years and it is pretty much my dedicated wheeler. SInce I have a 1997 Ford F-150 with a 150,000 miles and a wicked engine knock in the mornings, it is time for a new ride. So after some research, I found a 2007 fully loaded (the highest package) blue FJ Cruiser 4x4 with 22,000 miles on it for a very good price and almost blue book trade-in with my Ford.
I was actually going to buy a 60 series to get through for a few years, but the wife suggested I get a Cruiser now.
I have a 2 hour drive to pick it up. I'll try to post some pics if it isn't too dark to take them.
Anyone know if I can flat tow my 40 with an FJ Cruiser or should I use my wife's Tahoe to do that?

I pulled my neighbor's 3,500 lb boat 65 miles with mine and no problem at all. You should be able to pull that 40 easy.

I've used my FJC to flat tow my FJ40 from Greenbay to Chicago without any issues!

Well that is good news. I love this thing and can't believe how low the 4 low is with the rear locker. Very nice. Too bad I can't use it like my 40. Guesss I will have to paint the 40 blue to match the Cruiser. Pics later.

Drop me a PM when you are in the area. I am afraid I will have to wait to treat it like my 40 until all the payments are made in 72 months. Then is straight axle, elocker in front, and 37s.
