FJ engines

Hi. Anyone knows if toyota plans any new engines on future FJs, other than 4 liter?

Last I heard, there would be no future FJC once this model has ran its course.

No Toyota is not going out of business, but there is a basis for the speculation that they will not make a 2nd gen FJC. It is basically built for one market, and they only sold about 1k of them last month. Then there is the news report from Automotive news.

And I was hoping to see the new 4.6l (310hp) engine toyota recently developed on future FJCs.
