Removed Front Driveshaft But Can't Run On Dyno, Can Traction Control Be Disabled?

I have '07 FJ Cruiser w/ manual gearbox. I removed the front driveshaft and locked the center diff. It drives fine, but I need to run it on a dyno. HOwever, the CPU doesn't like the fact that the rear wheels are spinning and the fronts are not. So, it is either killing the engine or activating the rear breakes. Or, maybe both?

I have tried locking the rear diff, turning the A-trac on-off without luck.

I am looking through the Repair Manuals now, but any help would be appreciated.

Install of VSC cancel switch - Toyota FJ Cruiser Forum

The first post has a pic. of a grey coupling. You can unplug it to disable VSC

With the MT, the center diff is locked when in HL. This is how I am able to drive it with the driveshaft removed.

I still can't figure it out. Each wheel has a speed sensor and skid sensor. The ECU knows there is no skid and I get no warning lights from VSC. I can only get 20mph at rear wheels on dyno with the front on the ground. Odd?

Simple unplug of the VSC is the trick I have run my truck on the dyno Thats how I did it . It takes about 2 seconds to unplug it and go. You will get dash lights. After the dyno replug it and the lights will go away
thanks

I will give it a try. Is your truck MT. Did you remove front or rear driveshaft?
Thanks.

Why you removed the drive shaft is beyond me....but to disable all the traction crap for the dyno....remove this plug on the master cylinder....DONE!!!!

He was probably on a two wheel dyno not a four wheel dyno.
