Old wheels and tires

What do most people do with the original wheels and tires after you upgrade? My tires are an insult to any off-road vehicle and I am shocked that Toyota would put them on their SUVs. They are Bridgestone Dueler H/Ts and they were not designed for off road at all. I did learn that the dealers use several different tires on new FJs and I guess I got stuck with these crappy ones. Seems like all the FJs I looked at had the same tires so I just assumed that was the only option. Wish I had known before hand and I would have tried to get some different ones.

What was the nature of the recall on the Bridgestones? I got a pin hole on my sidewall - on visible evidence of damage inside or outside? I think it;s a warranty. Dealer says maybe.

I put mine on Craigslist and they were gone in 24 hours. It's a very common and popular tire size for pick up trucks and minivans. The wheels, I still have... no bites at $250 so I'll keep them. If I ever sell the FJ, the factory alloys may help sell it... who knows

x2 on that. Mine sold within 2 days to a guy driving one of those Avalanche atrocities. I didn't get $1K, but I got enough to make me happy.
