Its always been my belief that to increase flow you must decrease filter effectiveness.

I miss the old oil bath on my baja bug... you could drive through a sand storm... sure it was messy if you got sideways and well the little vw engine only had four squirrels making it go... but that air filter did its job with very little worry if you kept it flat.
