Did u work the wheel back and forth? My locker initially would lock in as soon as I hit the button. After a couple of years though when I locked it in it would start to blink and would take me driving a few feet and twisting the wheel back and forth. I checked some newer models though and they do the whole flashing thing also. I guess mine was just odd from the beginning.

yup just going back and forth in a straight line won't do it sometimes, you need to swerve a bit to get the rear wheels turning at a different speeds to get them aligned properly for it to lock.
