....Do you mean the cloth armrest that is on your RIGHT side or the door itself? If the DOOR PANEL has a crack in it, I'd try to get them to warranty it...they should unless there's obvious abuse. You haven't been using Armor All on your interrior have you?

No, that is not normal. Go to the dealer and get a new door panel.

then yeah...warranty it. I don't see how it would just crack on it's own though.

I'm curious to see the outcome of this. Wouldn't the dealer claim some "abuse"?

Depends. We need to see a picture of the "crack"

The pic should resize automatically. Use the paper clip icon to attach a file, then click on it again to insert your pic.

That is weird. Are you sure you didn't fall against it in a drunken stupor? Looks like something bashed into it. I don't see how it could just spontaneously bust like that. Especially since it looks like one edge is lower than the other.

I concur. However, that area is a pretty tough rigid area...which is why it's even more...you can ask them...but that looks like something or someone forcefully did...something to it...bizzare...we need C.S.I. in here.

Did you have a dealer service dept work on your rig recently? That is the kind of careless damage they did to my truck. I try to avoid dealers at all costs these days.

Another bowling ball incident?

I don't see how that could be anything but an impact fracture...it doesn't look like a "clean" wound such as if you were in a sub-zero temperature environment and the plastic cracked from a mild impact.

Looks more like it got hit hard and ripped...

Let us know what the dealer sez...
