3000 Rpm

Whenever I go up a long hill starting from 50MPH I notice that my RPMs would gradually go to 3000RPM. It would seem that the engine is working hard and has a slight vibration until I reach the top. Where you can even feel it in the steering wheel. It doesn't seem to want to shift gears unless I step on the gas pedal even more so it is past 3.5K RPM. Does anyone else experience this?

I have a very noticeable vibration that starts at 3,000 rpm and gets a little worse with higher rpm. I have it at that rpm during acceleration AND deceleration. It goes away once the rpm goes below 3,000.

I'm assuming that y'all are both runnin' AT's? My FJ sports a MT so I don't know about this "It doesn't seem to want to shift gears..." stuff.

Yeah if I accelerate more it will go away or if I let off the gas it will go away. Its a vibration that sounds like the engine is working hard until it shifts gears.

If you have taller tires and did not re-gear that would cause it not to shift correctly. I get no vibration from mine.
