Wheeling our long travel FJ Cruiser!

Total Chaos long travel with Sway-A-Way triple bypass and main remote reservoir shocks up front. Gotta love it!

How much did that lift cost you in total? What size tires?

33" tires; need to review paperwork for cost. See 2008 Total Chaos Fabrication for their kit prices. Rear are some rear suspension pics.

SWEET-did the 33's eliminate the frame trimming to loose the rub in front, or did the geometry of the total chaos set up do that?

I'm curious... Can you run the TC long travel kit without doing the glass body panels? Or are they necessary for the travel? Looks great!

NoHandleBars.... Look at Air2Air's rig on the blue fourm. I believe it is his daily driver too!

Wow. That looks funky. I'd like to see a pic of the thing all flexed out to the max.

You could, but it would look weird, also SCORE rules require fenders...

When I was deciding on my new suspension, I think I remember the TC Long Travel setup was around $4,500.

Dave, or anyone else, someone's gotta convince Hanneman or Glassworks to build some fenders like that for the 80 series.

Looks great Dave, a total blast.

The wheels are moved out with the new A Arms reducing the angle on the CV's

Very sweet...

...and capable I'm sure.

These forums are killing me though...makes me wanna buy ANOTHER FJ just to make a TOTALLY off-road rig...

Now that I'm older & fatter, I'm loosing my taste for sports cars!

What are those little lights on the front bumper? The small blue looking ones.

David:

Nice article in the mag. Setting up shocks correctly can very confusing. Your description was straightforward and clear. Hope to get a test ride in that monster sometime.
