Yes, Sway-A-Way is very high quality. My buddy just got the Icon (formerly Donahoe Racing) 0-3.5in 2.5in diameter coilovers and rear shocks. It is really nice. If you live anywhere where you get hard winters and they use salt, go with Icon. They use some kind of coating on the shock that prevents corrosion. No one else has this coating. If you are in the desert and thats not an issue, then you can pick and choose. I wold say that Fox Racing is tippy top end. You can get a long travel kit from Total Chaos and run Dual remote res. Fox shocks up front..... Now that is top end.

also, if you don't plan on using the adjustability of the high end shocks, you may want to just consider a lift like the OME kit. Very dependable, field proven, low maintenance, and inexpensive. With the high end lifts, you're mostly paying for the ability to adjust and service the shocks with relative ease. If you ain't gonna use that function, it is kinda a waste of money in my opinion. That said, I'm gonna upgrade to either Icon or Fox in the near future.

I agree with Toledo that all three are really top end.
Fox shocks are really top end and have quite a history. I reviewed the specs for Icon and Fox and both are CAD Plated. Neither one specifies exactly what is plated other than the cylinder bodies. Sway a Way looks like they have a lot of anodizing with clear coat. The OME setup will more than work for me and it is quite a bit less money. __________________ Eric KJ4ETF TLCA 18721 07 FJC 6MT So far pretty standard. I haven't been able to find an OME lift that will go the 3" needed to get 33's under my cruiser and I don't want to go with a spacer lift since I use it and don't want to take any chances with breaking anything on the trail and leaving myself high...

No way dude. Tons of people are running 33s and 285s on the OME lift. The OME is really a 2.5 in lift. You can get 5 or 10mm spacers with the OME kit for a little extra height. depending on what tires you use, you may or may not need to chop the frame. You'll have a little rub for sure if you don't do the chop, but it isn't bad. Nice to know that the fox are coated too. When I upgrade i'm going with fox.

yep and if you get the OME from ToyTec they include a high quality billet top cap for the coil over when you reassemble them with struts...it adds 1/2" to front OME setup....and gives you full 3" front and rear.
nice setup... __________________ I have a high art, I hurt with cruelty those who would damage me. - Archilochus, 650 B.C. ------ 08 FJ Cruiser aka "Brick House", Nitto TG 295x70x17, BudBuilt Rock Sliders 84 FJ60, Blue, BFG, 2.5inch; lift, Warn hubs, etc Lowcountry AMSOIL Products |

Sway Away lift installed and it came out sweet. Easy installation. Netted nearly 3" up front with the adjusting spacer at the top. We had it cranked down about 1" to start and measured just over 4" of front lift, after that Knoll took the spacer back up to the top.
Hopefully he will post up some pics and measurements after he gets the tires installed. __________________ GARETT 67 FJ40 - 350 - SM420 - SOA - ALL PRO HY-STEER - 4.88 - ARB F/R - 30 SPLINE LONGS - 35 MTR's - WARN XD9000 95 FZJ80 - 3 LOCK - LONGS - 4.88 - 285 TOYO's - OME J & L - LANDTANK CC & MAF MOD - ARB/WARN XD9000 - HANNA SLIDERS - 4X4 LABS REAR - SLEE SKIDS & MORE - ECLIPSE NAV - RUBICON TESTED! Kief just remember it's not the mods, but how you use them that matters :-) Or is it the size of your...mods that matter? In any case it's still all about the one behind the wheel.

I have this problem since installing the OME lift. fixed the one side now the other side is hitting. I need to bend the bottom plate that the coil sits on
