The bump you are feeling after being stopped it the driveshaft slip yoke binding and is considered normal. Toyota says if should be greased every 5K miles, mine likes it about every 3K. It will be more noticeable after harder stops than light braking applications.

This is great news! I just purchased an '08 Cruiser and have experienced the nudging after an abrupt stop (usually). I thought there was something wrong with it. To hear it is "normal" is a big relief. Thanks, you seem to know a ton!
