Drove thru a Toy stealership tonight and saw a dune beige FJ Cruiser. Couldn't believe it. The we saw another one driving. Any other colors planned??

Thanks, Woody. It definately was not 'Sun Fusion'. It was crazy retro dune beige. So I'm guessing it's custom????????

I saw a sandstorm FJCruiser in Callahan, Fl a few months back, I thought it was a very sharp looking FJC. I even queried a FJC owner on this board thinking that was him as he spent great money to repaint his FJC Dune Beige.

Wasn't him but he did enlighten me on the new sandstorm color scheme.

I honestly like the sandstorm colored FJCs.

The color you are referring to is definitely the Sandstorm factory color. As far as I know, I have the only Dune Beige FJC and it was a custom paint job (not trying to sound pompous

). I like the Sandstorms a lot; however, they are a shade lighter the Dune Beige from the late 70's FJ40s that I went with.

Sandstorm isn't my cup of tea, by that Dune Beige is SWEEET! Toyota should have brought back that color for sure.

OOOPS! my bad, I just checked again and it is there. I was gonna say they must have lost their marbles to discontinue the Blue. I think it is the most popular color.

I've heard rumors of a forest green, but nothing official.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll either buy a 2007 or 2008 SE for the solid color, but I'd consider a red with white top.

There's a sandstorm down the street from me- it looks good, but has a definite butter yellow tint compared to dune beige. My 40 is dune beige and when you look from one to the other the sandstorm just isn't quite right. I wish they would've brought back the real dune beige- or freeborn red.

I wish Toyota would seek feedback from us about the colors. It makes sense to me that if the FJC is to market on the 40 heritage, that any 'special editions' would have original 40 series color options; not white on white or black on black with special badging and options anyone cany buy thru TRD. Mustard Yellow, Dune Beige, Rustic green, and Sky Blue were all great colors. Cruiser Color Codes

Dune Beige has always been my favorite. The contrast just pops. The FJC above is much better than the sandstom (IMHO) and I'm glad someone took the time and $$ to do it right.
