I think the gravy train tax is a bit high on those! they look nice I think, a bit "Jeep-y". A lot of modded Jeeps run those pocket style flares.

That is a good point about per-piece cost as wheeling replacements...

Anyone make a tube style fender flare for a FJ Cruiser. Or anything other than plastic. Seems like they could be done f/r.

All these BIG companies that make the aftermarket stuff are charging way to much . you can get bushwacker flares for other vehicles between 200.00-300.00 the fj is new and popular so they charge more.the same goes for most of the fab shops if its popular charge more is their moto. look at the sand rail industry two years ago you could get a kick a$$ rail for 55,000.00 now that same rail will cost you 100 grand. I get an industry report and the sand rail industry said they have peaked on sales in fact this year was a dip in sales and they predict a bigger dip next year. lower the price and make your profit in quantity ...oops Im straying off topic. I just made a tube bumper for the front of my fj and after I finish the back tube bumper I'm going to make tube flares that tie into the rock rails. sorry for the long post this cost thing gets my blood boiling

I'd like to see some pics of your bumpers and flares. I'd like to replace the plastic fender flares with something else, but I don't want to drastically alter the look like those bushwacker ones do. Also, I need them to be compatible with a Snorkel.

Sold my FJ a while ago. Just realized I never posted a pic on this thread while I was looking through for some old pics I had.
