He's comparing the two, and deciding that the FJC is a much better vehicle.

Dubai uses LHD and drives on the right side.

It was my understanding that these are only sold in the U.S. This must have been imported personally.

My bad on two counts. I meant North America, and was not aware of the Middle East plans. Thanks for the info.

The Prado (parent to 4runner, Lexus GX470, and FJ Cruiser) is not sold in Dubai, however it is the most sold Toyota SUV in OZ for over the last year. Prado is widely sold in europe and sold in many other countries around the world (ecept North America )

Cheers,

Michael

Are you saying the Prado is not sold in Dubai?

I've never been there (and no plans to either) but the Prado is on the toyota UAE site. Yes I wish Toyota would have sold the prado here instead of the FJC.

Sorry Mate,

I stand corrected, I should have said it is not the most popular cruiser sold in Dubai.

Cheers,

I take it you are not a fan of the FJC? I will say that I am glad that Toyota is trying to sell a replacement for what they once had, the FJC is not the best, but not the worst either. I think we will see some changes for the next few years with the FJC.

At some point I will put 1KDFTV Turbo Diesel and drivetrain in one

Cheers,

Michael

There is a dealer in Netherlands called Multi-Car Bv http://www.fjcruiser.eu/. They import the FJ and sell them all over Europe. Cost $73,566 including tax.

What a mark up

cigarettes cost half the price over here in the middle east and I live next to the state that makes them. I don't smoke but find that funny.
