Determined that I need @ 9 quarts of synthetic 75-90 to do front and rear diffs and transfer case...

Determined that I need @ 9 quarts of synthetic 75-90 to do front and rear diffs and transfer case on 6MT. Priced Mobil 1 75-90 at @ $11 per quart at Advance Auto. Napa had Valvoline at about the same price. Could not find gallons. What gives?

The NAPA dealer suggested I consider WYNN'S, which he sells to auto dealers in bulk. Never heard of it.

Any suggestions on WYNN'S or possible sources for 75-90 synthetic in gallon containers?

After reading their website, I may be willing to be th Guinea Pig on this one if no one has used it

Picture added because posts without pics really blow . . . .:grinpimp:

Here is some info on my rear bumper build. I decided to go custom since I wasn't too excited about the current options, especially the limited choices for swingouts. After talking with a two 4th generation 4runner guys over at toyota120.com, I decided to go with 4x4 Labs in Grass Valley. He made bumpers for these guys and after seing one of them in person, the decision was made. He's popular with the IH8MUD crowd, and has developed trick rear swingouts for the 60, 80, and 100 series landcruisers. Luke, the owner is basically a one man shop. As you can see from the pics, he pays attention to small details. He's not only concerned with functionality and strength, but he really wanted this bumper to look cool. Anyway, on to the pics...
First thing, rear crossmember chopped...not for the squeemish.
Tucked up nice and high.
3500 lbs rated spindle sunk into bumper shell.

Hello & Howdy Everyone,
Well with our move from the Disabled Explorers FJ Cruiser into the Wheelchair Accessible Van for Expeditions we ended up with sponsored gear that needs a good home.

The first bit to travel is a Tuffy locking rear storage drawer.

If you or anyone you know has a physical mobility issue and you could benefit from a free strong steel locking rear storage solution for your FJC please get in touch with us.

As a 501c3 non-profit we want to help the disabled access the backcountry by 4wd. Selling off a sponsored item would be short sighted short term solution. Instead it will be great to meet a new disabled wheeler and follow the further adventures of this Tuffy drawer. Besides I would rather beg for donations than have to sell off gear that could go to other disabled folks.

The accepting person will have to cover shipping cost as we are all volunteers and donation supported. There is a commitment to keeping the Disabled Explorers & Tuffy stickers on the drawer and sending us updates on your trips & travels for long term testing.

pm me, or email info AT disabledexplorers or call six 02 four 51 six 079

thanks

Anyone running 35's with some words of wisdom? I've had 285/75/16's on from the beginning, but with my OME heavies, it sure looks like I have plenty room for bigger.

What are the con's of running 35's besides some of the obvious that I will need to address with the increased tire size?
