I run a contracting firm and possess a valid Certified General Contractors License (CGC). I can do just about everything from small projects (residential painting, remodels, house flips, any cosmetic or structural construction). Our larger projects range from commercial painting, regional electrical cabinet placement and hookup for Century Link (formerly Embarq), ELDC placement and hookup and safety barrier systems on many Florida interstates. I am aggressively looking for work and am willing to oversee and participate on any project that my license may be of use.
Thank you

Hello!

My wife and I have always talked about moving out of Boston to warmer climates. My wife got laid off today so figured I'd test the waters.

Me- 11 years in wine industry- outside sales, management, importing marketing, etc. BA in communications. Looking for sales management but happy to do outside sales. base + commission is ideal. No Amway crap please. Record of selling to large scale, national accounts and chains.

Wife- Director level marketing manager for huge companies. MBA in Marketing. 15 years experience. Way smarter than me.

Anyway, thinking of moving to NC, SC, GA, CA, or OR. Not desperate by any means but finding something interesting would make our decisions easier.

PM me with any leads or networking. (We have ZERO interest in financial or insurance industries.)

Thanks!
John

Help Wanted MetalCraft Marine - Seeking outfitters (Ontario Canada)

MetalCraft Marine - High Speed Aluminum Boats (http://www.metalcraftmarine.com)

Hey guys -...

MetalCraft Marine - High Speed Aluminum Boats

Hey guys - despite the shrinking economy, we are continuing to go crazy. We hired about 10 people in the past few months, but are still looking for more!

MetalCraft Marine builds High-speed Aluminum boats - mostly Fire/Rescue, but we also do Crew boats, Work boats, Police boats.... really - anything that people are willing to pay for!

We are in need of more skilled people to help us get our boats through the build process faster! Looking for Mechanical installers (Engines, Jet drives, Generators, Fire pumps etc), Electrical installers (to hook up all the above, along with all the Marine electronics) as well as General outfitters (seats, windows, doors, lights, life rings, life rafts, fendering etc)

Everyone has to start somewhere, so while experience is preferred, it's not required! We are a fairly unique business so finding someone who has done it all before is not always possible. We are willing to show you the ropes and if you prove to be good at trying, we are decent at sending people on certification courses.

We are currently building 4 boats for the Panama Canal Authority, 2 boats for the International Civil Aviation Organization, 1 for Jacksonville Fire Rescue, and there are many more coming down the pipeline (which is why we need to push these ones through!) We recently completed and delivered fireboats to Tampa FL, Hyannis MA, Warwick RI and many more.

MetalCraft Marine is Located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada - if you are in the area, interested, and would like to see more - please drop me a note and I'd be glad to show you around. If you are in the US (as I assume most people reading here are...) and you are interested but don't want to leave the US - we do also have a small division in Northern NY. I can pass resumes along to them, though they don't hire as frequently as we do.

MetalCraft Marine is a leader in it's field - and the boats that we produce are extremely unique. If you would like to be part of our team, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hello all,

Hello all,

I recently graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and have moved to Denton, Texas while my wife pursues a master's degree.

I have been working for a construction company remodeling Wal-Mart stores around Texas, but during the holiday season we do not do Wal-Mart stores and the company has been unable to line up any other projects until close to February.

The degree that I worked so hard towards is a B.S. in Hospitality Management and Tourism and would be interested in any jobs or careers related to my degree.

My practical knowledge and experience is on the construction/general labor side of things. Finish/trim carpentry, landscaping, farming, lawn care, window washing, painting, etc.

Really I need something to keep me busy. I've only been stuck at home for a week and I'm already going stir crazy!

Thanks for your help.
