I just came across you cruiser for the first time and I must say that it is the best mix of new and old that I have seen. You have a fine vehicle.

I would love to see some video of this truck running and the pop up camper in action. Do you think you could post one on YouTube?

Hey Soenke, so many people are very interested in your ride, ever thought about building some more and sell it? I don't think that I could afford one, but lots of other people might. Something like Icon does, keep the legend alive!

Hey Cruiser, sorry don´t have any videos

Hey Jonny,

I don´t think we would make any money, it´s just to much work to pay for
even regarding that the next J4/J8 would be quicker to build knowing how to do it..

and I am not shure if there are many more weird people like us spending so much time and money for a car..

but if someone really want´s the Toyo ... try me

a new cruiser is born

just want to show you the lates of Marcus´builds:

a new kind of 80 build dedicated to travelling has just been finished by the Offroadschmiede Marcus Haase |
it´s lighter to go without a hydraulic system and less complicated without the J4 cab...

lovely.
Do you have any interior photos?

I still like the 40 cabin better, and the way that the camper lifts is more attractive to me than this fold-out type. In the rain I suspect that the folded canvas could get musty.

But these are petty distinctions. That 80 looks wonderful and I'd be exited to see it, let alone drive it, let alone actually own one.

Bremach - small Italian manufacturer using IVECO engines. They are "fairly" well known in EU overlanding camper type circles. Looks great!!!

I have to say it Soenke - the orangy yellow 70 camper just looks way too "fussy", the dune beige one looks too fat at the back... etc. Honestly speaking when I see your one with the 40 cabin I wonder why these other guys bother - If I was in that position I would just be handing over a picture of your rig and saying "make me that please" - no camels, no Touaregs... just classic clean lines in a regular colour
Congrats - pretty difficult to improve on your truck as I see it.

no second seat row in this one, but if you want them, you could start the camper shell behind the passenger doors. Will be less space inside then...

Marcus www.offroad-schmiede.com exhibited for the first time at the ABENTEUER & ALLRAD in Bad Kissingen, we just visited for the weekend...

In this exhibition almost all professionals in 4x4 cars and parts in Europe, 4x4 travelling organisations and a few offroad cubs participated. So we had enaugh to explore besides answering questions about our car. There have been few nice cruisers and a lot of other 4x4 or trucks bigger then a house. (don´t know what they are used for...) Been to busy to make a lot of pics though.

Just want to show you one more standard roof elevation from Michi from www.desert-tec.de
the new f/g roof for J8

this is a " vessel" from a competitor, I think its from http://www.geocar.com/

a long travelled one from http://www.alpha-cab.de/start.html
