Who has Dealt With Pangaea Expeditions?
Pertaining to gathering supplies and equipment for expeditions, I have had several emails not returned and they don't answer their phone. Unless they are out on expeditions, that is not how I rn my business. The owner, Nathan, has been spoken highly of over on the Expedition Portal forums. I was just wanting some stuff that Slee and others in the area cannot supply. Any comments?

Nathan is a great guy. He must just be out of town. Keep trying.

In all honesty this is kind of a common problem with pangaea. Great guy, super nice but I think he kind of got overwhelmed with his workload.

I guess keep trying.
I've had the same bad luck with pangaea and it's a common story with others... Not the kind of customer service I prefer. __________________ Mark Lachica 1995 Fzj80 |

It seems that while the web site is still up, Nathan has closed Pangea...
Can I suggest www.sierraexpeditions.com Wil is a great guy to work with...he personally delivered some last minute Engel fridge stuff to me at the Expedition Trophy! -H- __________________ 2003 BMW R1150GS Adventure 1983 FJ45 Troopy KE7TYL ...and then there is always Mexico.... |

Thanks for the info.
I have talked to a gent (forgot his name) at EQUIPT1. He was very informative regarding the Q's I had on the Adventure Trailers, their can carriers, and RRT's. __________________ Mike 1997 FZJ80, white, Slee 5.5", 315/75R16 MT, locked, CDL, SROR sliders, tube bumpers with receivers for winch, custom exhaust, custom internal tire mount, Snorkel, Sirius receiver, Mark's Box, Eezi-Awn 1600. |

I had the same experience with Pangea. Sounds like if they're in, they're on the ball, but if they're out . . .
Paul May runs Equipt, stand up guy and good friend, knows what customer service is and how important it is. __________________ Cory Fillmore TLCA Western Individual Representative 99 UZJ |

Just saw another company start up an outfitting business by a mud member. Why not introduce yourselves?

I had sent an email about buying a fridge from Pangea and never received a respons. Siera Expeditions has been great about returning emails and propmt shipping.

I agree, from personal experience that Paul May (equipt1) and Wil (sierraexpeditions) are all great to deal with.
The new outfitter in town is a fellow mudder Boston Mangler, www.bajaoverland.com I've dealt with him the most - he rocks. __________________ Mark Lachica 1995 Fzj80 |

I've purchased from both of these fine gentlemen and would do it again without hesitation. I've talked with Will on the phone, nice guy. I've wheeled with Paul once in Moab, real nice guy. Both companies ship fast and accurate.

We've dealt with the 3 following companies and can't complain about a single thing with any of them. All 3 are great companies.
