A mate of mine in Hervey Bay used to do heaps of ute conversions to 80s, 100s, Nissan Patrols, Land Rover Discoveries. Most were dual cabs but he also did a heap of single cabs and extra cabs. He no longer does it full time but will do it for mates.

There is a mob in Brisbane that does the conversions too. They do a square back with sharp corners whereas my mate took the extra time to get nice rounded corners.
