Fitting Cobra CB in Glovebox

Hello,
I have had my Cobra radio sliding about my dash since i got it and thought it was time to get it fitted in. MY good friend has fitted his into the space where his glovebox is by blocking it off with wood. I would like to do something similar, but using a mould of the original glovebox door and making a fibreglass replacement. I would then like to fit my Cobra 29 UK lltd into it using something like a DIN slot so my bad cutting can't be seen around the edge.
I am wondering whether it is possible to find a DIN-like Cobra sleeve or if anyone has put a CB in this position. Any tips on fibreglassing wouldn't go amiss either!
Thanks for any help on this one.
Fred

Put a couple of strips of Velcro along the bottom of your CB and stick it in the glove box; it won't slide around. I had my Icom land mobile radio mounted to my dash with Velcro. Never any problems.
