Birthday present: Garmin Nuvi 260W It's Great!

Anyone else have one? Tips, suggestions and comments?

Anyone installed topo maps on theirs and, if so, where did you get them?

Thanks,

Al

YES. see the post a few posts from this one about finding new GPS maps. It is the best damn program I have seen for mapping routs and transfering maps. You can create exact waypoints with names and routes. THen you can actually print out a hard copy of a topo map with the waypoints along with thier names. FANTASTIC! I jsut got my nuvi 200 set up with the system and planned a weekend camping tri.

I am going to a familiar place but camping in a different lcation. I was able to mark all the possible camping possibiities along streams. I know where the roads should be, where they lead, and what they will offer before having to scout for hours. Although scouting is fun, I don't have the time for it this trip.

SInce I want to also fish a lake, I can know where I am in reference to any location now.
