Good, Cheap Deck

Gonna put a stereo in The FJ60 and I am wondering if there is a reasonable, cheap (under $150) deck out there.

Single Din, with at least one set of preouts..

ideas?

Or shoudl I just go to Bestbuy and hope they have an open box for cheap

Bought an Alpine from Crutchfield for ca. $130 for the 80. Oughta work in a 60 and shipping was free.

Cheap is good if it works.

I'm on my fifth Blaupunkt (on five different cars) and they're nice, sturdy and cheap. For $130, here's what you can get. Has two preamp outputs, bluetooth and iPod ready (adapters extra) when you're more loaded down the road:

I've never had problems with the lower end Sony explode decks. Had about 3 in different vehicles now.

Mace,

I have had a couple buddies buy off Best Buy OUtlet on Ebay. They sell some nice decks for cheap (basically either discontinued, open box, or minor blemishes). Just read the description for all information. I bought an overhead console for 60% off retail and I even had the local store install it for me.

The cheap Sony Xplods with the manual flip down face have served me really well. I had a 5000 and a 5500. They last really well in the dirt as that extra flip of the face saves the CD felts from all of the dirt hitting them. The 5500 I had in my 80s for almost 6 years. It is still going strong as far as I know. I put an MP3 10 disc changer on it. Not as cool as an ipod but for $120 I had over 1500 songs on deck.
