my instant $0.02 ergonomic ham radio mount...

oh, did I say it is also just a tad ghetto / redneck (pick one)...

but eh, it works. Very handy too...

here it is:





(fwiw: mounting system: pure genuine amazonian organic rubber . Extension cable: 25ft 6 conductor with built-in coupler: $7 at OSH)

added: yet another cheap trick:

I always put removable transparent tape on my displays so they don't get scratched.
