2M Ham Gear for sale
Post up your 2M gear for sale here.
I'm looking for a nice Yaesu HT to use on trips, but the ham forums are too cumbersome to deal with and everyone only leaves their call signs to contact them. that's great if you're ALREADY a ham! I'm still a lurker, gunna take the test next month; but looking to score a sweet deal on a Dual Bander or Tri Bander or a mag mount antenna. Somebody hook a brother up! you know you wanna upgrade....

Pablo,
My observation is that hams are worse than Cruiserheads when it comes to hoarding. They only sell OLD stuff (really, really old stuff) unless they die, then all their friends help to sell their stuff to other hams for top $$$. HTs get thrown in the second/third car for emergencies and rarely sold. You'll find stuff on eBay but unless it's broken you won't find any bargains. Hams also seem to be pretty good about not screwing another ham by selling broken stuff on eBay with the typical "as is" caveat. Good Luck. -B- __________________ 97 FZJ80 - Wing Nut MAF, locked, 315 Toyos, 4.88s, Slee 4", George's sliders, Slee bumpers, M12000, OBA, Outback drawers + other stuff. Transformation in progress... Go to a few of your local ham clubs meetings and ask around. Most of the club meetings/nets I have attended have had a buy/sell part to them. Don't expect to many great deals. Good luck

Thanks for the replies, I've gone to the Hamfest locally, found nuthin, and thought that this would be a place a MUD member might want to get rid of soemthing since it didn't fit in the Tires or parting out section of the for sale area.
I'll keep looking. __________________ Pablo '94 FZJ80 215K 6M1,Optima Red Top, Bilstien'd, Mobil 1, DBA DnS front Rotors, 285/75 Revos, George's LED's, MetalTech Sliders, Slee Short Bus Front Bumper, OME 850/863 |

I'd just bite the bullet and buy a new one. There have been significant advances in ham radio and the stuff that you will find bargains on isn't going to have the newer features. Plus on a HT batteries are a big expense and buying an older unit may require the replacement of expensive batteries.
